We are proud to announce that Andrew Alpert, Alpert Schreyer, LLC’s founding partner, has the honor of becoming Maryland’s first and only attorney to become Board Certified in DUI Defense Law by the National College for DUI Defense (NCDD) and The American Bar Association . Attorneys who are Board Certified by the NCDD can demonstrate that they have a substantive understanding of DUI laws, evidentiary issues, and effective methods of defense. A former prosecutor, Attorney Alpert, has been recognized as a top-rated DUI/DWI defense lawyer in Maryland and Washington, D.C. He credits some of his success to his advanced training with the NCDD. Previously, he has attended many of the college’s courses including “Mastering Scientific Evidence in DWI/DUI Cases” and became the state’s first attorney to complete its “2021 Serious Science: Advanced Course in Blood Drug Analysis and Trial Advocacy.” NCDD has granted him a Certificate of Appreciation twice, first in 2007 and again in 2009. Further, he is the only Maryland lawyer who has achieved the lawyer-scientist designation from the American Chemical Society.
Time after time, clients turn to Attorney Alpert for help when facing charges for drunk/impaired driving and vehicular manslaughter, among others. His success in helping thousands of clients protect their rights has resulted in acclaim from Super Lawyers®, Martindale-Hubbell®, Avvo.com, and his peers, clients, and even courtroom opponents.
