$1,000 Reward Offered For Capture of Real Life Hamburglar

Just recently a video went viral of, perhaps, the REAL hamburglar…and police are now offering a reward for the man’s capture and indictment.

The incident in question happened between 3:00 and 5:00am on March 18 and went viral this week, even receiving coverage by national news media.   The Metropolitan Police Department reported that a man followed a deliveryman into a Five Guys location in Washington, D.C., hid and waited for the deliveryman to leave.
Then he cooked a couple of cheeseburgers and stole a bottle of water.  No money was reported missing, but the man faces a charge of burglary.
Washington, D.C. police are asking for help from anyone who can help find the man and are offering up to $1,000 for information that leads to the burglar’s arrest and indictment.  This particular Five Guys location is in Columbia Heights in the 1400 block of Irving Street in Northwest and if you have any information, please call the police at 202-727-9099 or text your information to 50411.
