Ocean City, known for its beaches, tourism, and night life, sees more than its fair share of drunk driving arrests and other alcohol related charges. This past August, Maryland State delegate Richard Impallaria found himself on the wrong side of the law, showing that no matter who you are, you can be charged with DWI.
Impallaria has now recently been found guilty of driving while impaired after his arrest in August, according to the Worchester County Circuit Court State’s Attorney Beau Oglesby.
In the vicinity of 8203 Coastal Highway on August 18th, Impallaria was stopped and subsequently arrested by Ocean City Police Department officers on the suspicion of driving while impaired.
The representative has held office in the Maryland House of Delegates for more than a decade, having been elected by both Harford and Baltimore counties. Impallaria has also served in the House as the deputy minority whip since 2015.
