Police searchThe discovery of skeletal remains in a wooded area of Fort Washington, Maryland has led to an investigation involving the, as of now unidentified, individual’s death. Not much information has been released yet to the public, but the strange finding is causing a stir in the local community. Police say that more regarding the case will become available to the public as the investigation progresses.

According to the police, they were investigating the 900 block of East Swan Creek Road, responding to a report for “something that was going on”. Later the officers from Prince George’s County Police Department confirmed that they discovered skeletal remains at the scene at around 1:45 p.m.

Police stated that an autopsy will be performed to determine the individual’s cause of death, and any further investigation will depend on the results. Additional information regarding the case will be released to the public when they become available.
